Event #5 on the 2018 Colorado region trail was held on 7/15/2018 at Lake Pueblo Reservoir. Check out the points standings to see which teams are at the top of the heap! Even if you haven't started fishing, it's not too late to jump into the season. American Bass offers a Traveler's region. American Bass Traveler's Region allows you to fish and earn points by fishing in two or more regions. Build you own schedule and qualify for one of the exciting American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic's!
Each exciting American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic awards a new Ranger/Mercury boat package to the winning team. These events are invitation events. Teams earn an invitation by qualifying in one of the many American Bass team regions. The Team Classics feature a $200 basic entry fee with a 100% payback of the entry fee to second place through the 20% of field. Examples; if there are 100 boats in the Team Classic, there would be $10,000 cash awarded to 2nd-20th places. If there are 80 boats in the Team Classic, there would be $8,000 cash awarded to 2nd-16th places. First place will receive the Ranger/Mercury boat package no matter the number of boats competing! The $200 entry is required, teams may also choose to enter additional options for a chance to win even more cash! If you have never qualified, you need to make this your year!

The top team at Pueblo Reservoir was Amy Winegardner of Pueblo West, CO and Sam Heckman of Pueblo West, CO. They had a great day on the water weighing in 5 Bass that weighed 9.66lbs! Along with their 1st Place trophies they received $880.00 CASH! Congratulations on your victory! Sam is a member of the Bass Pro Shops and Eagle Claw teams.
The runner-up spot at Pueblo Reservoir was the team of Marin Marinov and Rich Coshlan. They took second place by bringing 3 Bass to the scales that weighed 9.17lbs. They received $739.00 CASH and a pair of 2nd place plaques! Congrats on the great finish at Pueblo Reservoir!
Finishing 3rd at the 7/15/2018 Pueblo Reservoir tournament was the team of Ed Rodriguez and Joe Ramos. They weighed 4 Bass going 6.02lbs! They collected $200.00 CASH for their day of fishing! In 4th place we had JC Crump and Danny Carnevale. They weighed in 1 Bass for a total weight of 5.18lbs and collected 340.00 CASH! Great job at Pueblo Reservoir!
Rounding out the top 5 at Pueblo Reservoir on 7/15/2018 was the team of Justin Hicks and Heather Wild. They're 2 Bass weighing 3.51lbs earned them this top 5 finish! They received the 5th Place Plaques. Justin is a member of the Skeeter Boats, Yamaha Outboards, and Pepper Jigs teams.
The biggest Bass of the day was weighed in by the team of JC Crump & Danny Carnevale. Their big fish weighed 5.18 pounds!
This region offers American Bass angler's some of the best fishing in the West! To qualify from any region, you need to compete in a minimum of 5 events.
