Lake Roosevelt 5/19/2018
The final event of the 2018 Central Arizona region was held on 5/19/2018 at Lake Roosevelt! The Anglers of the Year for the Central Arizona region was the team of David Stachowski & Greg Valenzuela! Check out the points standings to see the full Anglers of the Year Standings. The Anglers of the Year title is decided by the best 5 events of the year.
Each exciting American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic's awards a new Ranger/Mercury/Lowrance boat package to the winning team. These events are invitation only events. Teams earn an invitation by qualifying in one of the many American Bass team regions. First place at each of the Team Classic's will receive a Ranger/Mercury boat package no matter the number of boats competing! The Team Classics feature a $200 basic entry fee (plus mandatory event fees) with a 100% payback of the entry fee to second place through the 20% of field. Examples; if there are 100 boats in the Team Classic, there would be $20,000 cash awarded to 2nd-20th places. If there are 80 boats in the Team Classic, there would be $16,000 cash awarded to 2nd16th places. The $200 entry is required, teams may also choose to enter additional options for a chance to win even more cash! If you have never qualified, you need to make this your year!

Taking First Place at the final event of the season at Roosevelt was Shawn Hilton of Phoenix, AZ and Blaine Ruddy of Mesa, AZ. They had a great day on the water weighing in 5 Bass that weighed 21.58lbs! Along with their 1st Place trophies they received $1115.00 CASH! Congratulations on your victory! Shawn is a member of the Esox Fishing Rods and National Construction Rental teams.
Taking 2nd place at Roosevelt was the team of David Stachowski and Greg Valenzuela. They took second place by bringing 5 Bass to the scales that weighed 16.69lbs. They received $616.00 CASH and a pair of 2nd place plaques! Greg is a member of the Bluewater Tackle & Marine, Shimano, Procraft Boats, Mercury Outboards, Lowrance, and Cul-M-Rite teams. Congrats on the runner-up spot at Roosevelt!
The 3rd place team at the Roosevelt tournament was Seth Furmanek and Robert Kettner. They weighed 5 Bass going 13.47lbs! They collected $170.00 CASH for their day of fishing! Nice Going Seth and Robert!
In 4th place we had Shannon Coppell and Tom Loughran. They weighed in 5 Bass for a total weight of 13.35lbs. Great job Shannon and Tom!
Rounding out the top 5 at Roosevelt on 5/19/2018 was the team of Daniel Adams and Jason Stockon. They're 5 Bass weighing 13.00lbs. earned them this top 5 finish! They received the 5th Place Plaques.
The biggest Bass of the day was weighed in by the team of Shawn Hilton & Blaine Ruddy. Their big fish weighed 8.51 pounds!
This region offers American Bass angler's some of the best fishing in the West! To qualify from any region, you need to compete in a minimum of 5 events. If you fish at least 6 events in one season you are qualified to fish all three American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classics! Jump in next season if you missed out this season.
