Hey guys, I wanted to remind you about our 5th event tomorrow at Castaic
Plan to be at the lake around 4:30am to 5:00am, line up behind the ABA Truck and as soon as the lake lets us in, I will check everyone in when we are in the parking lot. Blast off should be at 5:45am. This will be an 8 hour event, our last event of the season (June 18th) will be a 6 hour event. The Angler of the Year race is still anyones to grab!

Payback Changes for the 2011 Season!

For the first twenty years of our history we focused on paying very deep. Times changed and the focus of many became how much could the top couple of team earn at each event. Well, times have again changed and value is back in style! In 2011 we will pay 1 out of every 3 boats! That’s right, with 30 paid entries we will pay 10 places! That is 4 more checks paid than what is paid with the 1 in 5 boats that is currently in use by just about everyone. In addition, a higher percentage will be paid at each event while still keeping the Team Classic monies in tact!

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to inform you about the upcoming 2011 season! I'm very excited for this season as I hope to continue to grow this region! We will be going to three (3) lakes for this region, starting off at Pyramid then to Piru, and finish at Castaic! There will be a lot of opportunities for everyone to catch a check, so come on out and see the new payback for yourself! As many of you know, new for the 2011 season American Bass will be paying 1 in 3 based on the number of paid basic entries. Here is the breakdown of the Entry Fee for the 2011 season.
Basic Entry = $180 (Includes Insurance and Conservation Fee)
Big Fish $30
Big Bucks $30
Biggest Bass $20
Dr. Plots $20
Super Big Bucks $40
Total "ALL IN" $320

There are going to be a lot of opportunities for everyone to catch a check this year.
